In July 2022, Chuan Park was successfully acquired by Kingsford Group and MCC Singapore, for a sum of $890 million. This is the largest collective sale since Tulip Garden, which sold for $906.9 million in January 2019, despite not reaching the reserve price of $938 million. With the previous attempt to negotiate a collective sale occurring in 2018 and the reserve price set at $900 million, this acquisition marks the fourth attempt to do so. The size of Chuan Park’s units ranges from 710 to just over 2,000 square feet, therefore depending on the size of their unit, owners can anticipate receiving large revenues of between $1.16 million and over $2.5 million.

In addition, the expected sales prices for the two commercial apartments are $2 million for the 1,238 square feet unit and $1.09 million for the 474 square feet unit. At 240 Lorong Chuan in District 19, Chuan Park is a 99-years leasehold condominium community of 444 residential residences and 2 commercial spaces. Built in 1985 by Far East Organization, the condominium sits on a 400,588.7 square feet land. With no development charge to pay, the developers will pay an average of $1,254 per square foot (psf) for the land after deducting the $890 million offer price and the $165 million premium. Chuan Park can be developed into a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of 841,236.3 square feet, with a Gross Plot Ratio of 2.1.
